The Ancient History of
Kerala is
shrouded in the mist of the tradition . It's history is the story of
Synthesis ,assimilation and fusion of the old tradition and the new
values in every sphere of human thought and activity.When india became
free, the Kerala as we know today was non-existent, Kerala was
then under three administrative set-up's-two princely states,Travancore
and cochin, and malabar which was under he direct administration of the
British One of the first steps taken the independent India was to
amalgamate small states together so as to make them viable
administrative units.
