The J. M. Lyngdoh Committee?s recommendations on student elections were accepted by the Supreme Court last week and welcomed by all the major student unions in the city, however, there seems to be some dissatisfaction over the clause that states that maximum expenses during an election should not be over Rs. 5,000.
