Dakshina Bharat Hindi Prachar Sabha The learning of hindi opens up many new job opportunities for the young generation. Dakshina bharat hindi prachar sabha (D.b.h.p sabha) conducts many courses which enable the students to acquire good proficiency in the language and take the careers in teaching and related fields. D.b.h.p sabha is university of national importance which came in to being on an act of parliament in 1964. It conducts many job oriented courses for the benefit of students who fail to get admission to higher studies .After their s.s.l.c rashtra bhasha praveen ma,m phil,ph.d,d.lit,post graduate diploma in translation, siksha snathak,hindi typewriting, hindi shorthand are some of the job oriented courses conducted by the sabha. Besides these courses sabha also conducts prathamik and madhyam courses for the benefit of student who just want to acquire some proficiency in the language. Students who have secured atleast 20% marks for hindi in s.s.i.c examination or those who pass the madhyama exam can join rashtrabhasha course. Those who have got 35% marks in hindi s.s.l.c exam or t hose who have pass the rashtrabhasha exam can join the praveshika course.rashtrabhasha visharad is meant for student who have pass in hindi paper in p.d.c or b.com or who have passed the praveshika exam. Students who have passed the hindi paper in B.A or B.sc or who have passed in rashtrabhasha visharad can join rashtrabhasha praveen course. Students who have passed B.A , B.sc with hindi as one of the subjects with 50% marks can join the hindi M.A course. Those who have passed M.A hindi with atleast 55% marks can register for M.phil and Ph.d. Student who have passed B.A, B.sc, with atleast 45% marks in hindi can join the post graduate diploma in translation course. Student who have passed B.A, ,B.sc with atleast 45% marks with hindi as a second language can join the B.ED course .Those who have completed .B.ED course can join M.ED course. Students who have passed the S.S.L.C and rashtrasabha praveen are given admission to the siksha snathak(hindi teachers training) course. A pass in hindi S.S.L.C exam is a minimum qualification for joining the hindi typewriting and shorthand course. No formal educational qualification is required for joining the prathamik and madhyama courses. The duration for prathamik,madhyama,and rashtrasabha and praveshika course in six months and that for rashtrabhasha visharad and rashtrabhasha praveen is one year. These exams are conducted every year in the months of February and August. Rashtrabhasha is the basic qualification for joining the upper primary schools as teachers and rashtrabhasha praveen is the basic qualification for joining high school as teachers.
